Different types of jade are distributed in specific regions around the world due to their unique geological conditions. The origin directly affects the quality characteristics and supply stability of jade.

For example, the main production areas of rose quartz are Brazil and Madagascar; the main production areas of aventurine are India and Xinjiang, China; amethyst is mainly produced in Uruguay and Brazil; Hetian white jade mainly comes from Russia and Xinjiang, China; Xiuyan jade is mainly produced in Xiuyan County, Liaoning, China, where the mineral resources are concentrated and the processing industry chain is mature.

The classification of jade into high, medium and low grades mainly depends on indicators such as color, clarity, transparency and texture. For beauty tools such as jade rollers and gua sha tools, we usually use a simplified A-grade and A+-grade classification, focusing on practicality, appearance defects and processing accuracy, rather than jewelry-grade color/transparency. It should be noted that the factory usually does not apply jewelry grade standards here, but instead divides them based on practicality and appearance defects. Grade A can meet basic functions, Grade A+ provides user experience, and Grade B is generally used as a gift or sold through low-end channels.

Taking the heart-shaped gua sha as an example, we simply divide the processing technology into the following steps:

1. Raw material slicing: Select jade raw materials without large cracks and uniform color, and then use a large cutting machine to cut the raw stone into plates of uniform thickness (usually 5~8mm thick)

2. Line drawing & stone cutting: With the help of the heart-shaped scraping template, mark the outline on the jade plate. Then, use a small cutting machine or water jet to cut along the line to get a rough embryo.

3. Shaping & embryo punching: Use a grinding wheel to grind the edge to initially form a heart-shaped outline. Then use an engraving machine or stamping die to trim the details (such as heart-shaped grooves, arcs, etc.)

4. Initial product inspection: Mainly check whether there are cracks, broken edges, whether the shape is correct, and whether the thickness is consistent. The defective products produced at this time will be reworked or downgraded to B products

5. Polishing: Use a diamond grinding wheel to remove obvious knife marks, and use vibration barrels to make the surface achieve a mirror effect.

6. Secondary inspection: focus on checking whether the polishing is uniform, whether there are residual sand holes, and whether the product edge is round and burr-free.

7. Finished product packaging & shipment. Clean the product to remove dust, and then pack it according to grade.

Two inspections are required in the production of heart-shaped scraping boards. The difficulty lies in the easy cracking of the grooves, which requires manual repair by experienced masters.

Jade has always been regarded as a natural mineral with health-preserving effects in traditional Chinese culture, and modern scientific research has gradually revealed its potential benefits to the human body.

Skin Allergies: Poor-quality jade may contain heavy metals such as nickel and lead, which can easily cause allergies if contacted for a long time. Your skin may become red or itchy

Frostbite: Using a refrigerated jade roller directly around the eyes may cause capillary contraction, especially with obsidian scraping.

Physical Damage: Excessive force may cause the edge of the jade scraping board to scratch the skin, or the roller may fall and break into sharp angles.

Bacterial Infection: For example, in a beauty salon, there may be multiple people sharing unsterilized jade tools.

In general, high-quality jade has very few side effects when used correctly, but you need to pay attention to choosing safe materials, being cautious when using it, and disinfecting it regularly.

Xiuyan jade is soft and rich in color. It is the most cost-effective jade material and is suitable for bulk purchase by beauty salons. It has good thermal conductivity and is suitable for use with essential oils, and is often used as a body scraping board.

After use, wipe the surface with a soft cotton cloth dipped in pure water immediately. You can use a small amount of neutral detergent (such as baby shampoo) to dilute and wipe gently. Avoid using alcohol or disinfectant.

Avoid exposure to the sun, and contact with hard objects or sudden alternation of hot and cold. When using hot compresses, do not use too high a temperature, as high temperatures can cause changes in the internal structure.

Store separately in a flannel storage bag and disinfect with a UV disinfection cabinet. If there are slight scratches, apply a little toothpaste and wipe gently.

If you customize the entire packaging box, you usually need 500~1000 pieces, which means you can design the entire packaging box, and then we print it. Relatively speaking, the unit price of the book-shaped box is higher.

If you don’t have such high requirements for customization, we have made all-white packaging boxes in stock, and you can do brand silk screen printing on the packaging, with a minimum quantity of 100~200 pieces. Please provide your logo file in AI form, this is important. Jpg, png or other formats cannot guarantee pixel clarity, we need to use AI format files to make steel plates. If you can only provide PNG images, please make sure that the pixels are large enough. In addition, please provide the Pantone color numbers of all the colors used in your logo, and we can also provide suggestions for you to choose from. The screen printing master needs to adjust the ink according to the Pantone color number. Of course, if you use laser engraving technology to print the logo, no need to provide the Pantone color number.

Before proofing, we will provide you with the renderings to confirm the position and size of the logo printing on the product. After you confirm that it is correct, we will start to arrange sampling.

Second: Custom packaging
We will provide the die-cut file for the product packaging box, usually in AI format, and then you will design it. After receiving your design file, we will check it carefully and tell you about possible printing problems or suggestions if any. We can provide color box samples printed by a digital printer if necessary, and will arrange mass production after you confirm that there is no problem.
